Eighth Grade students Will Crabtree, Vir Patel, Haley Rublee, and Chandler Unfried qualified as seventh graders to attend the Duke University Talent Identification Program recognition ceremony at Western Kentucky University last May. These students took the ACT test as 7th graders, and their invitation to the awards ceremony was based on their ACT scores.
University Heights Academy congratulates these eleven eighth grade students who scored at the 90th percentile or above on the EXPLORE test, ACT’s College Readiness Test for 8th and 9th grade students. The test is administered to eighth grade students at UHA annually. Students are tested in four areas important for college success—English, math, reading, and science. The content of the test is closely tied to that of the achievement tests in the ACT, which is broadly used for college entrance and placement decisions.
A special recognition also goes to Trey Lachance, who scored a perfect 100 %.
