Exciting News: Streamlining Our Communication with ParentSquare!

We are thrilled to announce that UHA is moving toward a more unified and seamless communication experience! To ensure you stay connected and informed without the clutter of multiple apps, we are consolidating our communications into ParentSquare.
What This Means for You
Our goal is to create a "one-stop shop" for school news, classroom updates, and essential alerts. While we are already using some of the features ParentSquare offers, we are currently finalizing our staff training and onboarding to bring you the full power of the platform.
A Note on Privacy and Compliance
We also want to provide a quick clarification regarding Kentucky Senate Bill 181, which requires public school districts to use traceable communication systems. As a private institution, University Heights Academy is not required to abide by SB 181. However, we maintain strong ties with professional entities that do require these high-level communication controls. For example, our Athletic Trainer, Madison Young (provided through our partnership with Baptist Health Deaconess), operates under protocols that necessitate these secure, traceable platforms. To support these vital partnerships and ensure the highest standards of safety and transparency, we are proactively implementing these controls now and for the future.
What You Need to Do
Nothing just yet! There is no action required from you at this time.
Once we are fully ready to launch the complete suite of tools, we will send out an official Welcome Letter with instructions on how to activate your account and tips for using the app.
Thank you for your continued partnership and for being part of the UHA family. We look forward to connecting with you on ParentSquare soon!
Go Blazers!
Sincerely,
Rick Jennings / Technology Director
